Knewton CAT 1 - 640 (38Q, 42V)

I took the Knewton CAT 1 today. 640 is an improvment over the 590 a few weeks back. On reviewing, I saw that I had made a lot of silly mistakes and also there were a few problems for which the approach was wrong. I made 7 mistakes in DS and 5 mistakes in PS. On two questions, I didn't even read the question properly and made mistakes in DS. Should be careful next time. Verbal was a breeze, in contrast with the passages of Kaplan. On the whole, Knewton was not a stressful experience. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not reviewing the verbal mistakes, but focusing only on quant.

Hi, how are you? Saw you October's studying & practicing. I gotta say it is impressive keep it up. Nice score and now 700 isn't that far :), just keep on practicing and working your weak areas (review the concept) and also don't forget about your strengths. Also, try to do some hard questions of the topic you are studying on GMAT forums like http://gmatclub.com & http://beaththegmat.com. Use tag searching on these forums. Healthy diet & good sleeping habits along with peace of mind would be a great catalyst to your high scores on GMAT.
Take care,
Good luck with prepping :)

I had stopped prepping because of workload and just recently resumed but this time I am back to GMAT. Will try GRE later if needed (I hate cramming in GRE). And, I have done MGMAT Number Properties and now doing MGMAT FDP as well as doing NP questions from
oG.
Good Luck & Happy Prepping :)
